SHOP: TAPAS SPOT OPENING AT MOUNTAIN BIRD SPACE
The acclaimed Mountain Bird restaurant on West 145th Street is still intact and now a new restaurant will apparently arrived at the storefront just east of 8th Avenue. Peque Vino and Tapas appears to be poised to open at the location that was not successful until Mountain Bird came along and made this forgotten corner of the Central Harlem a destination for foodies all over the city. An increase in rent closed down MB earlier this year but if this new team is as talented and effortlessly efficient as their predecessors, then there might just still be hope for this stretch of Harlem more known for fast food than better dining options.
