REMEMBER: HARLEM FOR THE HOME
Sugar Hill Market on Sunday, October 12th at 259 West 132nd Street will also have a couple of Harlem-based merchants with memorable Harlem-centric pieces. Ollomatic is a custom, hand-made furnishings line which will feature The Ronettes who grew up in Hamilton Heights and were one of the major girl groups of the 60s. Historian John Reddick has a notable collection of Afro-centric original prints that even go as far back as Vaudville shows a century ago in uptown's historic neighborhood. Those looking for special and relevant pieces to decorate their Harlem homes should make sure to drop by the brownstone garden galleries of La Maison d'Art tomorrow starting at noon: LINK
