BESPOKE: DESIGNER HARLEM WORK BAGS
One of the great local brands that we have discovered while curating Sugar Hill Market is Sidney & Sons work bags. This Harlem-based canvas, leather-trimmed line is all made in the USA and features fashionable vintage details such as the signature frame opening. Before zippers were invented in 1913, this was the closure featured for all bags and in many ways was much more substantial than its predecessor. Frame bags are easier to open and close quickly and they also retain their shape because of the internal structure. Another great detail about the collection are the smart rivet anchors which uniformly distributes stress points so there is less wear and tear on the leather details or frame elements. Sidney & Sons has been sold downtown at West Elm recently but uptowners can get a bit of a discount on the local collection when shopping at this weekend's Sugar Hill Market on Saturday, December 6th at 259 West 132nd Street from 11:00AM to 6:00PM: LINK

are these bags unisex?
ReplyDeletethey are really cool.
Some of the large pieces are unisex but the smaller styles like the one in the lower photos work well for women.
