A Bespoke tip came in that a place called Thai Soup will be opening on 118th Street. From the renderings on the storefront, it appears that the modern aesthetic that is ubiquitous to Thai establishments will be the interior setting but where is this actually located? Our insider just mentioned that the location is actually between 3rd and Lexington Avenue at 166 East 118th but we have not been able to make it over to that block in East Harlem yet. The elusive Thai restaurant that seems to be on every corner in neighborhoods like Hell's Kitchen or Chelsea still has yet to arrive in prime Harlem but East Harlem might just be the spot to start the trend.
