SHOP: CESARE OLIVE OILS & VINEGARS OPENS
The boutique olive oil and vinegar shop call Cesare on Lenox and 129th has just opened this week. We walked in today and noticed dozens of artisanal olive oils lining one side of the store and vinegars on the opposite wall. Each silver vat sitting on the shelves are there for tasting and folks can try specialties such Cilantro and Roasted Onion olive oil or White Balsamic Vinegar before ordering a full bottle to go. Each bottle is priced all the same at around $10 and the owners are super friendly. We have not seen this type of specialty shop open in Harlem at all over the years and these guys are doing a stellar job with providing a unique range of offerings. This technically is a soft opening so folks can drop by from 10:00AM to 8:00PM until Cesare is fully operational. Definitely worth a visit!

Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm getting low on olive oil and will stop by over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a good addition and the price seems ok. I've been starting to experiment with different vinegars in my salad dressings and this will be right up my alley.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shop and they'll mix a batch of oil & vinegar for you, and if you bring the bottle back when empty, will credit you $1.
