ARCHITECTURE: NEW ADDITION AT A LOCAL LANDMARK
The city's Lanmdark Preservations Commission raised a few eyebrows and upset quite a few local residents a couple of years back when they approved a modern addition to a church at the corner of 145th and Convent. Now all of the construction is completed and we have to say that the final result turned out a bit better than the original rendering. This addition at least has a similar texture and color that matches the older house of worship and does not look too severely out of place compared to some of the architecture rising next to St. John the Divine further south: LINK
