INTRODUCING: RAI RAI KEN TO OPEN END OF MARCH

HB got the word out on Rai Rai Ken's second branch in the city after being in the East Village for 15 years and now the notable restaurant has announced via Facebook that they will indeed open very soon uptown.  We walked by the storefront on Amsterdam by 133rd Street and noticed everything was ready to go but still no signage had been posted on an opening event.  The social media site of the eatery was a different story and Rai Rai Ken has now confirmed the target opening date will be at the end of this month.  This is a game changer in our opinion since the ramen bar will be the first authentic Japanese owned noodle spot to debut uptown which means more similar affordable eats will arrive in the future.  Check out our past post for our first report on Rai Rai Ken's arrival in Harlem:  LINK

  1. Passed by this weekend, looked open and actually plentiful w people. Not too much around there, so it definitely spruced up the area
