READ: HARLEM'S FOOD SCENE IN THE JOURNAL
The Wall Street Journal has a great piece on the local dining scene in Harlem around FDB and Lenox Avenue that was just published this morning online. HB has been following the development of uptown's hot spots for the past six year and is also quoted in the article as well as Marcus Samuelsson of the Streetbird on 116th along with the many other great pioneers in this new era of north Manhattan eateries. Hamilton Height's recent boom in restaurants is not mentioned but overall the piece is one of the most extensive ones we have seen so far reporting on the food culture of Harlem: LINK

Hamilton Heights still doesn't exist to publications like the WSJ -- and that's just fine with me.
ReplyDeleteThe FDB restaurant row is getting it's deserved attention, and while Hamilton Heights is a little less know, it's a perfect environment to those of us who call it our home. The 145th stop is looking pretty nice these days.
ReplyDeleteI could go without the Dunken Donuts & City Bank on the corner, but I digress, lol
And they mention our favorite blog!
