REMEMBER: MARTHA AT FAMOUS FISH MARKET

Martha Stewart has done features on Harlem in the past but we never posted the episode on the particular visit to Famous Fish Market on St. Nicholas Avenue just south of 145th Street. Check out the above video which was probably done well over a decade ago from what we can tell and really shows one of the last authentic spots uptown that is still around today which is also still as popular as ever.

    Great video of one of Harlem's favorite in da' hood eateries!
    However, unlike the loyal customers of the Famous Fish Market, Martha is a little shady, in that she never takes a bite of what she describes as, "DE'LISH!"

    I remember that episode very well. I taped it on my Betamax. Yes my SONY Betamax and it still works.

    Now we know that Martha didn't actually eat her fish n' chips but that was cool. She devoted her entire show that day to Harlem & even pointed out spots even us native Harlemites didn't know about. Quite frankly Ulysses I think that episode was done more than 15 years ago.
