So the new restaurant at 1616 Amsterdam next door to Filtered coffee by 140th Street will be called Oso which is basically a Mexican bear (Oso means bear in Spanish, but this one is from Mexico). Signs are now up on the plywood that announces the arrival of the eatery that will be open this summer and we expect even more fanfare with the Hamilton Heights establishment. Uptowners should probably expect better end Mexican fare and also tequila. As mentioned in our past post, a certain celebrity game show host's son is behind this one and Bespoke readers have already guessed who:
