A new seafood spot inspired by the food scene on
City Island will be opening at 301 West 151st Street just west of FDB. The charming seaside town which is at the last stop of 6 Train in the Bronx (and then a bus trip) is known for its fresh fish and City Island in The City apparently will try to bring some of that local flavor into Manhattan. There really is not a lot of places to go to above 145th Street in Central Harlem so this will definitely be a change for the better. The public notice for a liquor license is from this past April so things will probably move along quickly from this point on.
