REMEMBER: TRAFFIC ON THE AVENUE CIRCA 1932
Who can guess this vantage point taken on a bustling boulevard circa 1932. Almost all of the visible buildings are entirely intact today but the trolley is unfortunately a thing of the past. An updated photo will be posted later on in the day.
ANSWER: Many have guessed that this is a view of Lenox Avenue from 122nd Street looking north. As can be seen at the lower photo, all of the brownstones are still intact along with the landmark church. Archival photo courtesy the Museum of the City of New York
