Adam Clayton Powell/7th Avenue has a bit of commercial hub forming around 135th Street in the past few years but for some reason the blocks further south by 125th Street have not really been so successful with better businesses. We walked by the shuttered SWING retail store the other day which is a reminder of a time when new establishment were popping up below 125th Street on the three major avenues of Central Harlem. Neighboring Lenox and FDB have all done well but ACP still has a ways to go for some reason.
