Summer weather is here to stay and renting a bicycle is a great way to explore all of uptowns historic sites. Larry's Freewheeling at 301 West 110th Street is just west of FDB and also provides rentals as well as bike repairs. It might be couple of years before Citi Bike reaches uptown so this is the obvious local alternative that will definitely do in the meantime.
