The mysterious storefront at the corner of 142nd and Broadway was formerly reported as being a new Starbucks location by locals but now turns out to be a gastro pub. Signs have gone up confirming that Loft 142 will arrive to this section of Hamilton Heights and it appears that the owner who is more known for a gay bar in Inwood is opening a space that is not just LGBT oriented. With the following of the former establishment, we expect a pretty mixed crowd at the new eatery but that is pretty much the case for any hot spot in the neighborhood these days.
