EAT: RED ROOSTER CHARLESTON BENEFIT

Wednesday, July, 15th,  Harlem Helps Charleston at Red Rooster,  Lunch or Dinner service within Ginny's Supper Club, 310 Lenox Avenue between 125th and 126th.  In response to recent tragic events in Charleston, SC, Ginny's Supper Club will host Harlem Helps: A Benefit for the Families of Mother Emanuel AME Church, at Red Rooster's Ginny's Supper Club.  Red Rooster has gathered members of the Harlem community as well as Charleston-area chefs and friends to contribute recipes for collaborative Harlem Helps lunch and dinner menus, with a portion of all proceeds donated directly to the families impacted by this tragedy.

A buffet lunch will be served starting at 12:00 PM with a $30 minimum donation, including a menu of Low Country Pork Shoulder with Cheerwine Cider BBQ Sauce; Watermelon & Pickled Tomato Salad; Catfish & Grits; Edamame Succotash; and Hummingbird Cake.

The seated, multiple-course dinner starting at 8:00 PM will require a $75 minimum donation and offer dishes like She-Crab Salad Biscuit; Fried Green Tomatoes with Benne Seeds & Pickled Benne Aioli; Crispy Oysters with Uni Comeback Sauce and Hot Smoked Carolina Coast Wreckfish with Butterbean Succotash.
