BESPOKE: BOUTIQUE BEAUTY AT VIVRANT

Vivrant Beauty opened at 220 St. Nicholas Avenue by 121st Street just weeks ago and has quickly become one of our favorite retail spaces to visit uptown.  This bespoke boutique is a breath of fresh air with a nicely curated range of beauty offerings that include skincare, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, lotions, cosmetics and nail polish that celebrates the diversity of women uptown.  There are also great gifts and books which often include works form local artisans.

Another great point of interest about Vivrant is that the founder is a born and raised Harlem girl who decided to get out of practicing law and bring something back to the community.  Desiree can be seen behind the counter or greeting shoppers at the story each day and will personally consult on individual beauty needs.  Those who want a different option from huge chain stores should definitely check out Vivrant Beauty which is open 7 days week starting at noon.   Closing times are at 8:00PM for most days except Sunday which is 6:00PM.
