EAT: VEGETARIAN OPTIONS AT HANDPULLED NOODLE
We had spent an afternoon last week showing a vegetarian friend around West Harlem and had to figure out a place to eat later on in the day that would be satisfying but meat-free. The Handpulled Noodle on Broadway by 148th Street came to mind for a quick bite and had menu items our guest could eat. This tiny new eatery came to mind since all of the noodles are made on site and come in a broth or stir fried offering with various toppings to choose from. Various meats can be selected but a purely vegetable option was also available. We tried out the wide noodles with seitan mixed in and have to say that the serving was a lot more substantial than on previous visits. Those who are looking for a health conscious option should definitely check out this tiny spot in the Heights which has a little bit of something for everyone.
