BESPOKE: JEWELRY BY MAIKO SUZUKI
While researching local fashion creators, an associate mentioned that we should meet up with jewelry designer Maiko Suzuki who happens to also be a fellow Parsons alumni. Ms. Suzuki's collection includes all metal work individually designed and casted in the artisan tradition so each piece is unique in themselves. It actually is quite rare to find a jewelry specialist that has their own designs casted these days and the modern sensibilities of this line is really current to what is happen in the fashion world. Pieces are formed from either brass or sterling silver and often include semi precious stone. Maiko Suzuki will debut at Sugar Hill Market this weekend for the first fall market: LINK
