REMEMBER: HARLEM CORNER CIRCA 1910
Who can guess this Harlem corner from the photo taken circa 1910? Surprisingly enough, most of the building are still standing today in a part of town that has much larger new construction being built every 6 months or so. The mansard structure on the far left is the only address that has been demolished and has been an empty lot for some time now. A more current photo will be published later on in the day.
ANSWER: This is indeed the corner of Madison looking east on 125th Street. All of the original wood storefronts have since been removed but the buildings pretty much look the same today except for the lot that is situated mid block. Current view via Google Maps
