November has been pretty warm so far and the weather ended up being perfect for this past Sunday's New York City Marathon. We always try to check out the annual athletic event at Mount Morris Park West where there is always live music to greet the runners at this latter leg of the competition. Usually before noon, the leaders of the long-distance race make it through Harlem which also makes for some dramatic images as can be seen above. More sunshine appeared later on in the day and the crowds really came out in full force to celebrate the everyday heroes that make the event such and inspiring occasion.
