REVIVE: MORE CONSTRUCTION IN EAST HARLEM

There has been a huge lot at the corner of East 121st Street on Third Avenue for several years now and it looks like some major construction will be rising very soon at this section of East Harlem.  We noticed a rendering posted on the plywood out front and activity on the site when walking by last week and saw the impressive scale of the designs planned for the parcel of land.
Based on DOB permits approved this past April, the 10-story new development will be one of the more substantial construction on the east side that will be rising up in the coming months. All together the mix-used building will have an impressive 93 apartments contained within but it is still unclear if these will be condos or rentals.  Devlopments that are this massive usually have underground parking which might be needed since the 2nd Avenue Subway extension in East Harlem has for the moment been put on hold: LINK
