We just received a press announcement that P.C. Richard and Son has signed a long-term 20,000-square-foot lease at 309 West 125th Street just west of FDB. The popular electronics and appliance retailer will open the Harlem location in the first quarter of 2016 at the historic building which used to be a post office back in the day and was the site of the famous LGBT Vogue balls in the 80s. More recently, a drugstore and bingo hall was situated at the address but have shuttered in the past year or so. Vintage photos of the post office can be found in our past post:
