DWELL: 399 MANHATTAN AVENUE IN CONTRACT
Number 399 Manhattan Avenue arrived on the market back in August for the asking of $3.5 million and now has a contract out based on a reduction to $2.995 million. This gut renovated, 2-family home located just north of 116th Street was an estate sale a couple of years back and has mostly been sheet rocked but some original details remain. The baths and kitchens are done in a contemporary fashion which look a little dated in our opinion but at least all of the infrastructure is up to date. With that said, the location is the big seller here and larger houses on Manhattan Avenue have been setting records for South Harlem in the past year. Subway stations, Morningside Park and the bustling FDB corridor is just an avenue over. More details and photos on Streeteasy: LINK
