Walking home from one of the many Christmas parties in the neighborhood last night we noticed that the Apollo marquee on 125th Street mentioned that Tommy Hilfiger had taken over the iconic venue for their holiday event. Back in the day, 7th Avenue companies would rent out hot downtown clubs like the Roxy for end of year festivities but now Harlem apparently has become the cool spot du jour. Uptown's famous neighborhood has been the best kept secret in Manhattan for quite some time now but things look like they are changing even with the more particular fashion crowd.
