SHOP: FIRST LOOK AT LA FLEUR D'HARLEM ON 144TH

As previously posted, Harlem Flo on the lower FDB corridor shuttered recently after 9 years on the boulevard but the owner of the boutique business has now moved up north with a new name. La Fleur d'Harlem has now open up shop at 204 West 144th Street which is just west of 7th Avenue and is fully up and running now.  More photos and details on this great new shop after the jump.

Miraculously the former storefront church space has been transformed to a retail oasis that is even more lush than the previous location further south.  Louis along with Flo the cat was there to warmly greet us and a couple of customers even dropped by from the block.  This was good to see even though the floral boutique has already a lot of online business so foot traffic is not essential for the establishment.  With that said, many folks in the neighborhood have since visited and mentioned that it was nice to finally see a charming store arrive on the block.  Peque Tapas, Ponty Bistro and Manhattaville Coffee are also nearby so upper Central Harlem just might be the next affordable retail for better businesses in 2016.  Those who want to shop online for Valentine's Day should check out the official La Fleur d'Harlem website: LINK

  1. This is fantastic, we didn't have anything local in Hamilton Heights to cater to this very need. I am in need of some fun and fresh plants to reenergize my space.

  2. A perfect day would be to grab a coffee a Manhattanville coffee, take a stroll into this new space and pick up some Orchids and later dine down the street a Peque on 145th. With a little Netflix of course hehe. Go Harlem
