It appears that even land facing large public housing complexes are now a sought after commodity in East Harlem. Number 109 East 115th Street by Park Avenue has just started construction on an 8-story residential building which probably has one of the more modern designs that we have seen uptown in recent years. Based on approved DOB permits, 32 units will arrive in the mixed-used new development which appears more on the luxury end based from the soaring windows within the design. The view is not so great at this corner of East Harlem but the subway and commercial hub on Lexington by 116th Street is only a couple of blocks away.
