BESPOKE: CHERRY BLOSSOMS IN SAKURA PARK
Sakura Park on Riverside Drive and 122nd is probably one of the more unknown green spot in the city but the little hidden gem on Harlem 's west boarders is worth checking out when in season. The parks department actually planted a few more smaller trees this year facing Grant's Tomb which will compliment the original 5 larger plants within the gazebo field. The remainder of the more mature trees donated by Japan back in 1912 are directly outside of the park's wall and bloom a little later which will probably be this weekend.
