The abandoned building at the corner of 116th Street and Manhattan Avenue has had a sidewalk shed put up in recent weeks so what is actually going on? Checking on DOB records, it looks like 321 West 116th Street will be going through some remedial repairs at this point but the city-owned property also had permits filed for a full restoration back in 2012. If repairs really get going in the next few months, than 8 apartments could possibly be available in the next year or so.
