EAT: STEAMED BUNS AT R.O.K.C. ON BROADWAY

Authentic Japanese food is popular in the city for not only having some of the freshest ingredients but also for presentation.  We have been writing about the new R.O.K.C. ramen bar over on Broadway for the past week since every little detail has been thought about on the menu.  The classic steamed buns either with pork or shrimp from the new Hamilton Heights eatery comes presented in a small bamboo steamer and even has a banana leaf garnish.  Chopped chives provide the right green notes to the classic dish and a little lettuce is also thrown in to brighten things up. A liquor license  should be coming soon but with food this good, one might just not care so much about the cocktails in the meantime.  More on R.O.K.C. can be found in our past post: LINK
