INTRODUCING: A MICROBREWERY IN HARLEM
We ran into a local successful shop owner yesterday who mentioned that one of the next ventures planned in the coming year was a microbrewery with a tavern that will possibly arrive in the Striver Row neighborhood if all works out. Small business owners in Harlem have been able to expand uptown in a way that celebrity restauranteurs from downtown are still somehow trying to figure out and more is coming down the road in the near future. With that said, the property owners are big player in any neighborhood's growth and it looks like those north of 135th Street might have the better deals these days for the right commercial tenant. If this location does not work out than another one will be found since a microbrewery is something that is quite hard to find in Manhattan and would be an attractive addition to any block.
