READ: HARLEM STREET STYLE IN I-D MAGAZINE
Harlem is famous for street style and I-D magazine has a great editorial spread on the millenials that are making it happen but also asks a few questions on their perspective on living uptown. Diversity and pride for Harlem shine through but also a concern that materialism along with the obsessive need to be validated by social media come up. Knowing that hard work is required to get ahead is also a common sentiment on par with the call for politicians to be more open minded to the community.
