An empty lot at 1710 Lexington Avenue finally has plans for a new building put in place after being uneventful for several years. Plywood has been installed at this corner of 107th Street in East Harlem in the past months and now a rendering has been posted.
The simple line drawing does not really convey much but DOB paperwork mention at least 8 floors will rise at this intersection of El Barrio. There will also be 15 unit all together when things finish up but it is unclear if these will be rentals or condos for sale. New commercial arrivals are popping up just a couple of blocks west by the 103rd Street subway stations so this address will be one of the more desirable ones in the neighborhood when all is complete in the next year or so.
