Sunday, July 17th, starting at Noon, Harlem Bastille Day Festival 2016, at 127th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Harlem Bastille Day hosted by Maison Harlem will be happening again this weekend featuring a street party by uptown's favorite French eatery. West 127th Street by St. Nicholas Avenue will be blocked off for the day and revelers can expect live jazz music, a petanque field, French street food and the market vendors. Maison Harlem is donating part of the proceeds of the day's afternoon brunch service to the Global Language Project which supports bi-lingual learning within low-income neighborhoods of the city. Bastille Day is France's Independence Day but is also a great way to celebrate Harlem's multi-cultural communities. Mark those calendars for this weekend and make sure to drop by Maison Harlem on Sunday for brunch or just stroll the street festival.
