REMEMBER: A CAB IN HARLEM 2016

Just ten year ago, it was really hard to find a cab uptown but the times have really changed.  It used to be all livery cars (which we never took) and so we ended up learning the major bus routes that connected the various Harlem neighborhoods. Cabs occasionally drop passenger off north of 96 Street but seem to turn off the service light as they headed back south so it was impossible to get one to go anywhere.  Nowadays green and yellow cabs are on every corner and often stop when we take a photo of a building seeing that our hands are in air while trying to get a perfect shot on the streets.  We have still yet to take an Uber ride anywhere since we are the old fashion type and the need for one seems better suited for the outer boroughs.
