Studio rents have gone up in the past couple of years but one of the more affordable ones can be found at 545 Edgecombe Avenue for $1,350 a month. The prewar building with an elevator is on top of Sugar Hill by 159th Street and about a 5 minute walk to the subway station at 163rd Street. With that said, the area is pretty residential but also just north of all the stuff happening over in Hamilton Heights. More details can be found on the broker site:
