SHOP: CREPE MASTER ARRIVING ON FIFTH

A pie shop that had been planned for the storefront next to the National Black Theatre on Fifth Avenue never came about and now it looks like a new business has moved in.  Signs are currently up at the shop located just north of 125th Street announcing that Crepe Master will be debuting soon.  Retail at this corner of the neighborhood has not been doing so well over the years so maybe this one will stick if the offerings stand out.  Read more about the past announcement in our previous post: LINK
We walked by the location again today for better photos and discovered that more window signage had been put in place.  It now appears that the specialty will be Japanese style crepes which should really put things on another level.  Harajuku Crepes are served up in the funky part of Tokyo that is similar to the East Village and should provide something a little bit more interesting to try out in the coming weeks.
