The new construction on the empty lot at 17 Convent Avenue broke ground last December and now it looks like all of the foundation work has finished. We passed by this section in Manhattanville at the corner of West 128th Street yesterday and noticed that a few steel beams have already been put in place on the ground floor so the construction should be going up quite quickly after this point. As mentioned previously, this is an ideal location because the express trains station on 127th Street on St. Nicholas is just a block away.
