BESPOKE: MORRIS-STRAUSS MEN'S WEAR ON BROADWAY
We took a walk up Broadway this afternoon and noticed that some construction work had revealed old signage just north of 145th Street. A small shop by the old Hamilton theater apparently still had the Morris-Strauss Men's Wear and Hat's graphics hidden underneath the cornice of the storefront for several decades but has now seen the light of day once more. The glass has been broken on one end so the fate of the relic is unclear but it is always cool to see a bit of the distant past show up after all of these years.
