SHOP: NEW COLORS AT 313-315 WEST 125TH STREET

Victorian purples appear to be out fashion these days and Number 313-315 West 125th Street has recently had another color makeover.  Harlem's rare cast iron building reminds us of those found in Soho and was renovated 5 years ago in brighter hues.  We walked by this section of 125th by St. Nicholas Avenue yesterday and noticed a more neutral palette had debuted
Based on DOB permits filed over the summer, it appears that another major renovations is at had for this grand dame of uptown's commercial corridor. All five floors are being worked on now but there is no news on any permanent anchor tenant.  Check out what the formerly abandoned building looked like in our past post when it was a rusting artifact: LINK
