INTRODUCING: FACADE REVEAL AT ALIBI
The new gay bar in the Strivers Row historic district had quite bit of scaffolding out front since it opened over the summer and now the all of the facade repairs have been completed. We walked by the storefront on 7th Avenue by 139th Street in the past week and noticed that the window above the establishment had been repaired with historically correct details. The yellow brick probably has to age a bit to match but the missing lintels and sill are now in place. New York City is all about diversity and it is good to see LGBT establishments returning to the neighborhood in recent years. More on Alibi can be found in our past post: LINK
