LISTEN: BLUE RHYTHM FANTASY AT NJMH
Thursday, November 3rd, 7:00PM, Blue Rhythm Fantasy: Big Band Jazz Arranging in the Swing Era, at The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, 58 West 129th Street, just east of Lenox, $10 suggested donation. Jazz historian and author John Wriggle explores New York City’s vibrant entertainment industry of the 1930s and ‘40s to celebrate the big band jazz arrangers who built the Swing Era sound. This book release party will include a presentation by the author, rare audio recordings, and a live ensemble performance featuring special guests. More details on the NJHM site: LINK
