REMEMBER: JAMES BALDWIN PLACE ON 128TH STREET
West 128th Street by Fifth Avenue was named James Baldwin Place back in 2014 because of PS 124 located on the block. The famous author was actually one of the few Harlem Renaissance luminaries that grew up in the neighborhood and Baldwin attended the aforementioned high school. This section of Fifth Avenue is also quite famous because Langston Hughes Place is just a bit further south on 127th Street and more recently Neil Patrick Harris has become a resident on the notable blocks just north of 125th Street: LINK
