We received a tip over the weekend that uptown's newest independent coffee shop will be opening soon just south of the Mount Morris Park neighborhood. Number 151 Lenox Avenue by 117th Street went through a modern transformation over a year ago and had a renovated commercial space available on the lower level. It now appears that the Harlem Coffee Co. has established the lease and things are moving along rather quickly. The awning is now up along with additional signage out front so we expect an opening to be happening in the coming weeks.
