Paying more than $10 for a drink can really be a turnoff when going out in the city unless the cocktails merit the price tag. Out of all of the new openings this year, ROKC in Hamilton Heights on Broadway by 141st Street is the one place that makes the trip worth while. Bartender's from the notable downtown speakeasy called Angel's Share have actually won world competitions in the craft and a few of them banded together this year to open a boutique uptown establishment that mixes the best drinks that are literally on fire in some caseS. There is also a raw bar and extraordinary ramen served up so the place is constantly packed by early evening and has a waiting time on the weekends. Check out the first full review of ROKC in our past post: LINK
