The commercial spaces at The Morellino on ACP by 118th Street have been vacant since the building was renovated several years ago but now the
New York Post reports that a higher-end home furnishings store just signed a lease. Kathy Kuo has an online website but also sells at Neiman Marcus and will be arriving soon at this section of 7th Avenue just below 125th Street. Better retail has not really been successful on the avenue event though it is just one over from the bustling FDB corridor and Lenox Avenue. Those who have kept up with the history of the condo building will also remember that this used to be a youth hostel about 6 years ago before the city shut down the operation because of occupancy violations:
