We dropped Sister's Cuisine on 124th Street just east of Madison Avenue to check out the current restaurant week special. The platter of curry chicken, savory rice, okra with a creamy coconut sauce and delicious sweet potatoes was all served up for just $8 which is a pretty amazing deal. We really liked the caribbean curry which has more flavor than the lighter ones found at Indian restaurants and the okra was a sensational discovery. Everything was actually just great comfort food served up in a casual setting and diners can also choose jerk chicken or stew chicken for this dining deal that is up for another week. Paper plates and plastic utensil keeps it all affordable and efficient so those who want a quick bite served up by the friendly sisters should definitely drop by.
