READ: ANOTHER CHURCH CONDO CONVERSION
The Daily News recently reported that the church on Edgecombe at the corner of 140th Street has been sold to developers for $7.5 million with the goal of a condo conversion. This historic building is actually owned by two houses of worship that are only a short distance away from each other and merged a few years back. A second church building just a couple of blocks south by 137th Street will now be the main location for the diminishing congregation. More details can be found in New York Daily News: LINK
