The Renny is quickly finishing up the facade at the new construction site by 137th Street and 7th Avenue which will have 134 apartments when completed. There have been quite a few proposals for this development and the end result is looking better than we expected although restoring the original ballroom would have been preferable. This real estate transaction was pretty complicated because of the financial issues at hand with the landowner so the compromise that replicated some of the aesthetic of the namesake historic site is probably the best alternative to move things forward.
