Harlem Bespoke: The Maloney Brothers who founded Sol Cacao have recently been featured in Edible Bronx but actually are Harlem residents. These three siblings are local uptowners but recently found a factory space in the Bronx that will now help expand the business to a large scale. This kind of makes sense since the industrial areas of Harlem have pretty much been taken over by developers and the neighboring borough is not only easily accessible but also still affordable compared to Manhattan. We have been featuring the Maloney Brother at Sugar Hill Market in the past couple of years and the single origin dark chocolates has garnered a lot of attention. With this recent success comes the news that the crafted goods will eventually be sold at Whole Foods on 125th Street when the supermarket opens this summer.
